PACE Co-Rapporteur arrives in Azerbaijan

Stefan Schennach (Austria, SOC), co-rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the monitoring of Azerbaijan, has arrived in Baku.
French bureau of Report informs that during the visit on July 4-6, Schennach will hold a series of meetings with officials as well as representatives of civil society to further assess the country's fulfillment of its obligations to the Council of Europe.
Notably, Brexit was the reason for the postponement of the PACE co-rapporteurs' visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for the beginning of this year.
