OSCE PA forming observer mission for parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has begun preparatory work to form an observer mission for the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, which will be held in September, the press service of the OSCE PA told Report.

"We have indeed received the invitation to observe the upcoming elections and are planning to send a mission. The organizational work has just begun, and the mission leaders have not yet been appointed. The number of observers will be determined once the registration deadline has passed, which is typically a couple of weeks prior to election day. Additionally, we will hold a media moment on election day with the mission leaders," reads the message.
