OECD Anti-Corruption Network experts visit Azerbaijan

As part of monitoring the implementation of the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan, experts from the Anti-Corruption Network of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have visited Baku, Report informs referring to the Prosecutor General's Office.

The delegation was received by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev. During the meeting, measures taken in Azerbaijan to combat corruption, as well as the implementation of the organization's recommendations, were discussed.

The experts familiarized themselves with the policy of preventing conflicts of interest, ensuring transparency in public procurement and the business environment, as well as mechanisms for the return of property obtained by criminal means.

Based on the data collected during the visit, a report will be prepared, which will be presented for discussion in July of this year.
