Nur-Sultan-Baku flights fully restored

Flights between Kazakhstan's capital Nur-Sultan and Baku have been fully resumed, the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, Report informs via Zakon.kz.

Thirty-two international flights from Nur-Sultan are planned to be carried out on January 13.

Some of the destinations are Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk (Russia), Budapest (Hungary), Istanbul (Turkey), Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Baku (Azerbaijan), Kyiv (Ukraine), Tashkent and Phuket (Uzbekistan) and Colombo (Sri Lanka).

Only the flight to Frankfurt (Germany) was canceled.

Also, 31 international flights are planned to be operated from Aktau, Shymkent, Turkestan, Atyrau, Aktobe, Karaganda airports to Antalya, Colombo, Tbilisi, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Urgench, Dubai, Istanbul, Nukus, Yerevan, Tashkent, Kazan, Kutaisi, Amsterdam, Goa and back.

All international flights from Nur-Sultan have been resumed, except for Lufthansa flights.

On January 13, Kazakhstan's Almaty airport received its first international flight after protests and riots. The plane arrived from the Turkish city of Antalya.

"After resuming operations at the Almaty airport, Air Astana made its first international flight from Antalya to Almaty," the committee said.

According to the committee, on January 13, there will be international flights between Almaty and Colombo (Sri Lanka), Seoul (South Korea).
