Number of foreigners in Azerbaijan announced

Azerbaijan registered 791,983 foreigners (-0.5% from 2020), said the chairman of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov, Report informs.

According to him, citizens of Russia, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, and Ukraine prevailed among foreign nationals:

"There were 131,512 foreigners in the country of as December 31. At present, there are 129,590 foreigners and stateless persons in the country. Azerbaijan has seen a 19.8% increase in the number of issued temporary residence permits due to the current pandemic."
