Nikishina: Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation has great potential for growth

Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are developing very well, there is great potential for the growth of cooperation, Director-General of the Russian Export Center JSC Veronika Nikishina said during the event of the business mission of Russian companies in the field of urban infrastructure development - Smart City in Baku, Report informs.

Nikishina noted that according to the latest data, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to more than $2 billion, but these figures will grow.

She added that the countries have the opportunity to develop further cooperation: “We see the mutual interest of both countries,” Nikishina said.

She noted that more than 150 business meetings are planned to be held within the mission of Russian companies to Baku.

“We are committed to systemic, mutually beneficial cooperation and all our tools will be used for this,” Nikishina said.
