Greece appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Christo Kapodistria has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Greece to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Greece Anar Huseynov held a meeting with Kapodistria.

“I wish my Greek colleague in Baku, Mr. Christo Kapodistria, success in developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Greece!” Huseynov wrote on Facebook.

The new ambassador is expected to arrive in Baku shortly. Christo Kapodistria will replace Nikos Piperigos as head of the Greek diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
