Today, we signed a memorandum on cooperation with the speaker of Azerbaijan’s parliament. This includes political support and expands the boundaries of our cooperation, the Chair оf the New Caledonian Congress Committee оn Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Sustainable Development, Energy, Transport and Communications, Naisseline Omayra, said at a conference on History, Contemporary Challenges and Expected Future, Report informs.
She emphasized that today is a very historic moment: "We have already prepared and submitted our complaint for the review of the referendum. We are fighting against this referendum because it stole the rights of the Kanak people. We express our gratitude to Azerbaijan for standing by us in our struggle for independence."
