NAM simulation conference underway in Baku State University

A conference on simulating the model of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is being held at Baku State University (BSU), Report informs.

Students from various universities in Azerbaijan will conduct a simulation of the model of plenary sessions of the NAM.

The purpose of the event is to show students the principle of operation of the Non-Aligned Movement. The conference will be held in compliance with diplomatic protocol and etiquette.

Speaking at the opening, Deputy Executive Director of the Youth Fund Orkhan Arabov wished good luck to the conference participants.

“This is more than an academic event. It allows young people to understand how various decisions are made in the international arena, how such plenary sessions are held,” he said.
