Ukraine, as a country that suffers from large-scale invasion, supports the process which could restore the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan and at the same time create a long-term between these two countries, the Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Mykyta Poturaiev, said at the meeting of the OSCE PA Annual Session in Vancouver, Canada, Report informs.
Speaking about the proposal to hold the next meeting of the OSCE PA in Yerevan in the fall, he said that it could help the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. "We are supporting and appreciating the role of the OSCE in establishing long-term peace between the two countries."
However, the head of the delegation also expressed concern about the place of the next meeting: "We will consider the issue of participation in the meeting to be held in Yerevan. First, it is difficult to imagine our participation in the event with representatives of Russia and Belarus. Secondly, we should think about the issue of ensuring the safety of the members of the Ukrainian delegation at such a meeting."
