The process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is facing serious challenges, Report informs, citing a briefing held for diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev and representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov on September 8.

It was stated that the observed behavior of the Armenian side is a repetition of the practice of imitating negotiations, which has been typical of this country for 30 years, withdrawing from agreements reached previously and evading the fulfillment of the obligations undertaken by resorting to various political, military and other provocations.

“Using all the available opportunities to abuse individual states and international organizations, Armenia is running a worldwide smear campaign against Azerbaijan with false and groundless claims about the existence of a "blockade" and a "humanitarian crisis" in the region.”
