MFA: Iran doesn't provide information on investigation into attack on Azerbaijani embassy

Official Tehran does not provide with information on the course of the investigation into the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, Spokesperson of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada told Report.

Aykhan Hajizada stressed that the condition of the security service officers Vasif Taghiyev and Mahir Imanov, who were injured during the terrorist attack at the embassy, is satisfactory and their treatment continues.

On the morning of January 27, there was an armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.

The attacker broke through the security post of the diplomatic mission and killed the head of the security service with a Kalashnikov rifle. Two more embassy security guards were injured while repelling the attack.

On January 30, the deceased head of the security service was buried in the II Alley of Honor in Baku.
