MFA: No Azerbaijani citizens among injured Jakarta terrorist attacks

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ '“According to the preliminary information there are no Azerbaijani citizens among those who died or were injured as a series of terrorist attacks hit Indonesia,” Report informs, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmat Hajiyev has told journalists.

He said the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Jakarta maintains constant contact with the Indonesian authorities to obtain further information.

“The Embassy has appealed to Azerbaijani citizens residing on a permanent basis in the country to avoid crowded places. Nearly 30 Azerbaijani citizens are registered by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Indonesia,” he added.
