Azerbaijan is working on building communication lines through Iran, spokesperson of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aykhan Hajizada said in an interview with Real TV, Report informs.
According to Hajizada, Armenia is distorting the tripartite declaration: "This is also regrettable for us. Paragraph nine of the tripartite document contains specific obligations regarding the opening of communications. If Armenia insists on its current position, Azerbaijan has alternative options. One of them is the construction of relevant communication lines through Iran. Relevant work is underway in this regard. If Armenia continues its policy of self-isolation, it is its own choice. This option is not in their favor."
