Maharram Aliyev: Azerbaijan-Tajikistan co-op has huge untapped potential

Azerbaijan and Tajikistan are partners in many organizations. The positions of the countries coincide, they are based on the recognition of sovereignty and territorial integrity, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Military Affairs of the Presidential Administration, former Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan Maharram Aliyev said.

He made the remark during a round table meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, at the Center for Analysis of International Relations, Report informs.

“Today, relations between the countries are developing comprehensively. Taking into account the huge untapped potential, relations will be strengthened in the economic sphere. I am sure that this cooperation meets the interests of our friendly peoples,” he added.
