Kamel Meziti: Islamophobia - big problem in France

Islamophobia has been a big problem in France for many years, Kamel Meziti, doctor of historical sciences at Sorbonne University (Paris), told Report.

“The problem now is the politicization of Islamophobia. For example, this could be observed during the last presidential elections in France,” he reminded, adding that Marine Le Pen and others made scandalous statements about Muslims.
