Journalist living in Sweden supports protest of eco-activists on Khankendi-Lachin road

Alirza Ardabili, a journalist from Sweden currently visiting Shusha, told Report that he supports eco-activists' protest on the Khankandi-Lachin road.

"In the 90s of the last century, when the Azerbaijan lands were occupied, the USA adopted the 907th amendment. This was a great shock for the people of Azerbaijan. Because despite being invaded, many Western circles treated Azerbaijan unfairly. This process continues today. The Patriotic War that started on September 27, 2020, and lasted for 44 days was the result of this ignorance. Baku understood that what the USA and France say is not important. In all the victories of the Turks, neither the USA nor France existed. History shows this. Indeed, there are those who believe in human rights and have double standards in the West. But we should not expect them to understand us as a society. It is futile," he said.

According to the journalist, Armenians still have revanchist intentions:

"Azerbaijan should prevent their plans. It is a sacred duty. The underground resources of Azerbaijan belong to Azerbaijanis."

Ardabili said that in his visit to Shusha, he also represents his friends and those who want to come here:

"Very few southerners have seen Shusha since it was liberated. I am glad to be one of them. What I see in Shusha is an organized crime, brutality, and occupation," he said.

Ardabil was born in Ardabil. He left Ardabil 39 years ago and currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
