Jeyhun Bayramov meets with his Burundian counterpart

In the margins of the high-level week of UNGA79, Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting with Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of Burundi, Azerbaijan’s MFA said on X, Report informs.

During the meeting, it was stated that Azerbaijan pays particular attention to cooperation with African nations and is determined to further strengthen ties with these countries.

Prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of various international platforms, including the UN, and the Non-Aligned Movement were also highlighted.
