Jeyhun Bayramov invited to Bulgaria

Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has today received the delegation led by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Vasil Georgiev, Report informs, citing the ministry.
Minister Bayramov noted the development of the existing strategic partnership between the two countries based on mutual interests and international law. It was pointed out that high-level bilateral political dialogue and mutual contacts have positively contributed to the development of relations. The Minister noted that this year marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and that joint efforts will be continued to further expand ties in various fields.
Deputy Minister Vasil Georgiev said that the visit to Azerbaijan was very productive. According to him, a rich working program was organized, and the next meeting of political consultations and bilateral meetings were held. He also noted that the two countries have very good relations in the political sphere, as well as successful development of relations in economic, energy, transport, humanitarian, cultural, and other fields.
The meeting also discussed cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, as well as the situation in Ukraine and other regional issues. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the other side for creating appropriate conditions for Azerbaijani citizens who left Ukraine due to the current situation and passed through Bulgaria.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria said that Minister Teodora Genchovska invited Bayramov to visit Bulgaria.
