Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan will continue providing humanitarian aid to Syria

Azerbaijan will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Syria, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the meeting with Assad Hassan Al-Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria's Transitional Government, held on the sidelines of the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul.

According to Report, during the meeting, the Azerbaijani side reaffirmed its support for the establishment of stability and sustainable peace in Syria, and emphasized its readiness to participate in the country's reconstruction process.

The sides also welcomed the lifting of unilateral sanctions imposed on Syria, noting that such measures would support the country's recovery and regional integration.
