Italian expert: Armenia uses provocation to distract citizens from economic problems

Armenia prefers to direct the attention of the citizenry towards Azerbaijan to overlook the problems of internal politics and use hatred and provocation to distract the citizenry from the economic problems that the country has always experienced, Italian journalist and political analyst Domenico Letizia told Report.

He said Armenia plays a dangerous and very particular policy.

"Armenia, having a lot of problems in internal political management and in relations with the citizenry, prefers to direct the attention of the citizenry towards Azerbaijan to overlook the problems of internal politics and use hatred and provocation to distract the citizenry from the economic problems that the country has always experienced," Letizia said.

He believes that, however, this little game begins to no longer work and "more and more citizens are asking for peace and democracy for Armenia."

Letizia noted that in Europe, there are many who are aware of "this little game of Armenia."

"Europe must understand that Armenia which is a Russian pawn," he said.
