Iranian Embassy changes its Twitter account name after Report’s request

The Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan has changed its Twitter account name after a request from the Report News Agency.

Report was told in the diplomatic mission of this country that now the official Twitter page of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan is called “Iran Embassy in Azerbaijan.”

Previously, it was called Iran Embassy in Baku, which became the subject of active discussions among social media users.

A number of users have expressed dissatisfaction, believing the former name of the embassy’s Twitter page was incorrect.

For comparison, they mentioned other names for the pages of Iranian embassies from neighboring countries, noting that there should be a single policy related to how the names of the official pages of the Iranian embassies are formed.

After Report sent a request to the embassy, ​​the page name was changed.
