IOM Chief in Azerbaijan presents copy of his credentials to Jeyhun Bayramov

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the Chief of the mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Azerbaijan Troy Dooley, on July 16, Report informs.

During the meeting, Dooley presented a copy of the letter of credentials to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The minister wished Troy Dooley success for his tenure.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the IOM, as well as the issues arising from the COP29 preparations to be held in Azerbaijan this year.

Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan has close cooperation with the IOM, and expressed satisfaction with the implementation of joint projects on the improvement of legislation and institutions in migration.
