Int’l conference to combat Islamophobia gets underway in Baku

An international conference on “Islamophobia as a Specific Form of Racism and Discrimination: New Global and Transnational Challenges” has started its work in Baku, Report informs.
The event dedicated to the International Day To Combat Islamophobia is being jointly organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, the Center for International Relations Analysis and the G20 Interfaith Forum.
The conference is attended by scientists, international experts, religious figures and representatives of non-governmental organizations from 31 countries, who will discuss various approaches to combating Islamophobia, manifestations of Islamophobia in some European countries, Islamophobia in the world media.
