German MP hails economic stability in Azerbaijan

"Amid the current wave of pandemic, few countries have managed to maintain economic resilience, one of which is Azerbaijan. Germany is always interest in Azerbaijan to remain a stable and strategic partner," German Bundestag member Edgar Franke told the Report's European bureau.

He noted that one of the primary means of combating the coronavirus is economic sustainability, and Azerbaijan was succesfully coping with this task.

According to Franke, Azerbaijan is also on the list of states with the lowest COVID-19 death toll. This factor will make it a more important country for international partnerships in the post-pandemic world. Commenting on Armenia's provocation on the border with Azerbaijan, the Bundestag member said Germany remains committed to the inviolability of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries and its partners.
