Ilham Aliyev informs Iranian counterpart about recent sabotage by Armenia

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev informed his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi about recent provocations of Armenia during a meeting in Astana on October 13, Report informs.
Emphasizing that Azerbaijan implements an independent foreign policy, President Ilham Aliyev drew attention to the fact that on September 12-13 this year, Armenia committed provocations in order to aggravate the regional situation.
Stating that peace-building processes are underway in the South Caucasus, the head of state said that Azerbaijan proposed to sign a peace treaty with Armenia under the five principles Baku put forward.
President Ilham Aliyev noted that he believes in the possibility of achieving progress in this direction if Armenia shows political will.
