Icelandic Foreign Ministry: Attacks on diplomatic missions unacceptable

Iceland has condemned the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, Report informs.
“Iceland condemns the attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran. Attacks on diplomatic missions and staff must never be accepted. Condolences to the family of the victim and we wish those injured a speedy recovery,” the embassy tweeted.
A gunman stormed the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, killing the head of the embassy’s security service on January 27. Two other officers of the security service were wounded while resisting the attack. Their condition is satisfactory.
The attacker was detained by employees of the Azerbaijani embassy.
