Borg says looking forward to signing of peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The OSCE continues to focus on achieving a sustainable and comprehensive peace agreement, OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign, European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg said during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

He emphasized that during his chairmanship, all the shortcomings that were made earlier in resolving the conflict situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be taken into account.

"I think there is no point in looking back. I am receiving positive news from the foreign ministers of these countries, I encourage them to continue to engage in mature and meaningful negotiations that are ongoing. We look forward to signing a peace treaty," Borg added.
