Hikmat Hajiyev visits US, meets with US Acting Under Secretary

The Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev is on a visit to the US, Report informs.

During the visit, Hajiyev met with John Bass, US Acting Under Secretary for Political Affairs, Yuri Kim, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs, and Robert Gilchrist, Senior Official in the Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor.

It was reported that bilateral relations, the current regional and global security environment, as well as a wide range of issues including the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed at the meetings.
