Hikmat Hajiyev mulls political issues with secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev has discussed issues of political and economic cooperation, as well as regional security, with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Report informs.

"As part of the visit to Tehran, I met with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian. At the meeting, in continuation of the discussions held in Baku, we exchanged views on issues of political, economic cooperation between the two countries and regional security, and especially noted the importance of the North-South transport corridor," Hajiyev wrote on X.

On February 1, the assistant to the president of Azerbaijan visited the new administrative building of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Tehran.
