Hikmat Hajiyev calls on Armenia to join Azerbaijan-Georgia cooperation format

If a year ago the South Caucasus was a place of conflict, now Azerbaijan will achieve peace here, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, speaking at the panel session "South Caucasus: Regional Development and Prospective for Cooperation" within VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He stressed that Azerbaijan closely cooperates with Georgia in the South Caucasus, and Armenia can join and benefit from this process. Azerbaijan expected destruction in the liberated areas but did not know it would be this much, he added.
