GlobE Network official calls for joint efforts to free people living in member countries from corruption

People living in member countries must be free from corruption, Nasser Abaalkhail, Deputy Chairman of the GlobE Network Steering Committee, said at the sixth plenary meeting of the UN's Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), held in Baku.

Report quotes him as saying that corruption itself also adapts to new realities:

"Artificial intelligence and emerging new types of crime are not a distant challenge, but a current reality. Corruption knows no borders. This also makes us strengthen our principles of justice. We must be stronger than corruption. Therefore, the path we are taking together must yield good results. We must re-examine our capabilities, and people living in our countries must be free from corruption. In this regard, we must join forces and strengthen international cooperation."
