"The terrorist attack in Ganja is a bitter event," Georgian singer Giorgi Naniashvili told journalists in Ganja, Report informs.
Naniashvili said he was proud of his visit to Azerbaijan.
"We have been in Azerbaijan for four days now. It is a source of pride for every Georgian to come to this country. I was at the scene of a terrorist attack in Ganja that occurred during the war, and what happened there is very painful. What I saw in the area where the missiles landed was horrible, and the rockets fired at a civilian area had killed innocent people. I wish that such incidents do not happen again, that there will always be peace and harmony. We also visited the Ganja State Drama Theater. It is a magnificent building. The concert program organized jointly with the representatives of Azerbaijani and Georgian cultures was gratifying and pleasant for us," the singer said.
A group of Georgian cultural figures, ecologists, Turkologists and bloggers visited Ganja, with the organization of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia and the support of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
