"Azerbaijan is not only a friend and neighbor of Georgia, but also one of the main strategic and trade partners."
The local bureau of Report says that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said this at a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
According to him, Georgia highly values relations with Azerbaijan: “Economic and trade cooperation with Azerbaijan is developing. Azerbaijan has been a leader in investment in Georgia for several years. We should deepen and strengthen economic and trade cooperation, double trade and invest more. The two countries have very good relations not only in the economic and trade sectors, but also in the humanitarian and cultural spheres.”
