Georgian Deputy FM meets with ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Armenia

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, says the local Bureau of Report, citing the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting focused on the situation in the region. The sides stressed the importance of peace and stability in the region and said that the regional countries should work closely, considering the new realities.

The parties also noted the importance of further deepening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Today, Darsalia has also met with the Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan. They exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries and the situation in the region.
