Garibashvili mulls bilateral relations with Azerbaijani envoy

Chairman of the Georgian Dream party Irakli Garibashvili has received Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

The current friendly and partnership relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, issues of deepening strategic cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as regional processes were discussed at the meeting.

The importance of peace and stability in the region was emphasized at the meeting.

Faig Guliyev thanked Irakli Garibashvili for his mediation efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia during his tenure as prime minister.

The party chairman, in turn, thanked the ambassador for his contribution to strengthening ties between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
