Former president of Montenegro: EU going through difficult times

The EU is going through difficult times, former President of Montenegro Milo Dukanovic said at a panel discussion at the Xl Global Baku Forum on the topic “Fixing the Fractured World,” Report informs.
He noted that the outcome of the challenges facing the EU today will affect its competitiveness in the geopolitical context.
“As for the war in Ukraine, this is, in fact, nothing more than Russia’s refusal to accept Ukraine’s choice on its own path of development. Moreover, this is Russia’s war against the West, European values,” the ex-president said.
Dukanovic emphasized that in addition to the war in Ukraine, there are now various crises in European countries that demonstrate a huge hole in the security of these countries.
