Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan shared post about Garakand tragedy

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan has shared a post regarding the 33rd anniversary of the Garakand tragedy, Report informs.

"Thirty-three years have passed since the tragedy in Garakand, Khojavand region of Azerbaijan. On November 20, 1991, a civilian helicopter carrying 22 high level Azerbaijani statesmen, journalists and members of the peace mission was shot down by Armenia’s forces," the ministry said in the post.
