Foreign Minister: Azerbaijan invites Romanian companies to participate in restoration of Karabakh

Azerbaijan invites Romanian companies and investors to participate in joint projects for the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint press conference with Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu.

Romanian transit and logistics companies can also take advantage of the opportunities of the Middle Corridor passing through the territory of Azerbaijan and the attractive conditions created in the Alat Economic Zone, he added.

The minister emphasized that the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty opens up new prospects for normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan.

Normalization of relations on the basis of mutual respect meets the interests of not only Azerbaijan and Armenia, it will create an opportunity to develop cooperation with other countries in the region and beyond, Bayramov noted.

The minister added that Azerbaijan expects Armenia to take a constructive position on the issue of normalization and not miss this unique chance once again.
