On September 28, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani MFA.
Bayramov expressed his condolences to the brotherly state and people of Uzbekistan over the explosion that took place near the international airport in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and wished recovery to those injured.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers discussed issues on the current bilateral cooperation agenda between the two countries, as well as the current regional situation.
Thanking for the message of condolences and support, Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov pointed out that this support once again indicates the friendship, brotherhood and solidarity between the countries.
The two officials also exchanged opinions on other issues of mutual interest.
