FM: Turkiye consults with Azerbaijan at every stage

“We consult with Azerbaijan at every stage,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Cavusoğlu said, Report informs.

According to him, so far, Vienna has hosted three meetings of Turkish and Armenian special representatives.

“We are grateful to Austria for this. But why should the following discussions not be held in Turkiye or Armenia? Special representatives are now able to hold talks without any mediators. Some confidence-building steps have been taken. We support normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We need permanent stability in the region. We must work together for lasting peace in the South Caucasus, which is mainly prevented by pressure on Armenia” he said.
