As a result of Azerbaijan’s victory and the built-up relations of the country with Turkey, a new reality has emerged in the South Caucasus, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told Anadolu Agency, Report informs.
The minister noted that everyone must accept this reality: “A new stage has begun for Azerbaijan. A lot of work awaits us in demining the lands that were under occupation for thirty years, our settlements were razed to the ground, and a million Azerbaijanis were expelled from these lands. Serious work must be done this year. We mean the work for the coming months, not years. In a few months, some of the internally displaced persons will return to their homes.”
