Federal minister: NAM plays important role in solving many challenges

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) plays an important role in addressing many challenges, Pakistan's Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said at a Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku, Report informs.
He noted the importance of NAM and the opportunities that the organization has.
The federal minister also touched upon the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, noting that the occupation of these territories by India is still ongoing.
Rana Tanveer Hussain also called for a more active fight against such manifestations of Islamophobia in the world as bans on the entry of Muslim migrants, the burning of the Quran in Sweden, a ban on wearing the hijab, etc.
