Third forces should not be present in the border zone, Farid Shafiyev, chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), told Report.
Shafiyev noted that Armenia is seeking to extend the presence of the EU mission, likely for the next few years.
"Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated readiness to withdraw observers from the territory. However, there is information that Armenia is seeking to extend the mission's presence for another two to three years. We continue to study this issue," he added.
