Farid Shafiyev: Armenia admits that Crossroads of Peace project has no future

Armenia is already admitting that the Crossroads of Peace project has no future, said Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations, Report informs.

Answering questions from deputies at the discussion on “The Rise of the Global South and the West: Azerbaijan’s Role, New Opportunities for Cooperation and Development” held at the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, Shafiyev noted that Nikol Pashinyan’s project has a successful future only under one condition:

“This is possible with the opening of the borders with Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Therefore, we must continue our policy of pressure. However, Iran and India want some projects to pass through the territory of Armenia. There is even such an idea regarding Russia. Of course, we must think about this.”
