Expert: Baku-Tirana co-op is superb thanks to remarkable leadership of President Ilham Aliyev

It is time for large Albanian companies to explore the possibility of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of tourism, infrastructure, public works and cultural activities, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.

He was commenting on the official visit of Albanian President Bajram Begaj to Azerbaijan.

In his opinion, Bajram Begaj’s recent meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku is an important event in bilateral relations between the two states.

“This visit of the president of Albania is historic and encompasses the many areas of cooperation between both nations, including the following sectors: economic, political, cooperation in multilateral organizations, energy, economics and cultural affairs. This visit comes at a formidable time in the history of Azerbaijan; as we commemorate the year of National leader of Azerbaijan, the greatest statesman of Eurasia, Heydar Aliyev. The cooperation between Baku and Tirana is superb thanks to the outstanding vision and remarkable leadership of President Ilham Aliyev,” he noted.
