The 3+3 format, which involves cooperation between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, Iran, Russia and Armenia, could be useful for normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan, Turkish political scientist Engin Ozer told Report.
In his opinion, this initiative can contribute to solving many problems of the South Caucasus region directly by the neighbors themselves.
“Other actors and third countries should not interfere in the affairs of the region,” Ozer added.
The political scientist noted that this platform is also critical in discussing issues of unblocking transport communications and the economic development of the entire region.
A meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Iranian, Russian and Iranian foreign ministers will be held in Tehran. Georgia refused to attend it.
