Event on 30th anniversary of Italy-Azerbaijan ties to be held next month

An event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Italy and Azerbaijan will be held next month, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said as he met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on April 2, Report informs.

"As you know, this is my first visit to your country. Congratulations, your country is great. I saw the enigmatic city of Baku only thanks to the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The city is great; we saw it when we came here by car. I congratulate you on your leadership in your region. This year marks the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. We will celebrate this important event in May," he said.
