The International Organization” Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis" (EAPCA) issued a statement addressing the biased resolution adopted by the European Parliament about the Azerbaijan Republic, Report informs.
The statement reads:
“Azerbaijan has always cooperated and continues to successfully cooperate with international organizations, supporting the discussions and decision-making process on issues that are in line with its national interests and mutual interests with Europe.
“But under the influence of outside parties, some organizations have been displaying a nonobjective and biased attitude towards Azerbaijan. Such a biased attitude has become chronic in the European Parliament.
“The International Organization "Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis"(EAPCA) considers the adoption by the European Parliament on April 25 2024, of a resolution on civil society and human rights in Azerbaijan to be departed from objectivity and a biased political action against our country, and categorically refutes the unfounded accusations that are based on false and misleading information.
“A biased, double-standard-based assessment of the situation in Azerbaijan with regards to the protection of human rights and freedoms, including the right to form associations, freedom of assembly, freedom of expression and freedom of access to information, is clearly inadmissible.
“The International Organization” Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis"(EAPCA) strongly condemns the European Parliament's biased resolution against Azerbaijan and strongly demands the end of the double standards policy against Azerbaijan.”
