"Millions of people are forced to migrate due to conflicts in Africa," Ethiopian MP Tawfiq Abdullahi Ahmad said at the international event themed "Ensuring the safe and dignified return of displaced Azerbaijanis from Armenia: Global context and a just solution," Report informs.

According to him, Ethiopia has accepted migrants from Syria, albeit in small numbers: "Also, as a result of the civil conflict in Somalia, the number of Somalis in Ethiopia is quite large. More than one million people migrated to our country from South Somalia, Sudan, and a number of other countries. They live in city centers and refugee camps created for migrants. We are trying to create conditions for their safe return to their homeland. From this point of view, we understand very well the problems occurring in the South Caucasus. We think that everyone should live in their own land with dignity. Azerbaijan is a flourishing country in the South Caucasus region, and we are very happy to be here."
